Eskay Mining Corporation

Eskay Mining Corporation (TSXV-ESK; OTC-ESKYF)

Eskay Mining holds one of the most remarkable and largely underexplored land package – some 130,000 acres – in the middle of British Columbia’s storied “Golden Triangle.”

The legendary high grade Eskay Creek Mine – which is about to undergo its second major life cycle – sits amid the northern area of Eskay Mining’s holdings. Elsewhere, Eskay’s high-profile neighboring projects, from producing Brucejack (Newmont) to Seabridge’s development-stage KSM (the world’s largest gold resources and third largest copper resources), Treaty Creek and others suggest more is in this region to be found!

And that’s just Eskay Mining’s mission, as it puts together its most ambitious exploration program in many years for 2026!

February, 2026 – Here, you can watch a relatively short (under 20 minutes) but extremely insightful discussion on the history and geology of The Golden Triangle generally and Eskay’s land specifically.

And that’s courtesy of my recent discussion with Dr. Quinton Hennigh, one of the best-known geologists in the exploration industry globally. Quinton serves as a Geologic Advisor to and Director of Eskay (and is a major investor in the company personally as well!)

January, 2026 – Here, you can get the back story on Eskay from C.E.O. Mac Balkam and V.P.-Finance Rob Myhill, who I was joined by in late January to give a comprehensive look at the company.

Both seasoned businessmen and investors, Mac and Rob have a lot of skin in the game here; and as you’ll learn, have shepherded this massive land package forward to today when the gold market and other factors now dictate a more aggressive exploration strategy.

I have from time to time discussed the wisdom in exploration of looking for “donut holes”: companies that have ground in the middle of one or more better-known and farther along projects.  A few times over the years I’ve focused on and recommended companies that in such cases were indeed eventually acquired by others.

In this case, Eskay is sitting on about a 130,000 acre donut hole!!  And you’ll learn from Mac and Rob (with a snippet too from Director and Geologic Advisor Dr. Quinton Hennigh) why these gents think Eskay’s time has come.
