In this Episode, I discuss the promise–and perils–of Trump 2.0, following the unexpectedly strong showing of both the, now, 47th president and of the G.O.P. winners carried along on his coattails. As always, I call ’em as I see ’em! So be prepared for a take on President Trump’s win that is both hopeful and sober. The deck is stacked against Trump and a Republican Congress more than any of them realize. We’re going to see just how serious a “realignment” (and more) these folks are ready for! I also take an initial look at the market reactions this first day following the voting. Among other things, I suggested a Republican sweep would (at least initially) be great for stocks…and bad for precious metals.
